What's not to love. From the setting, to the service and, last but definitely not least, the food. Fantastic all around. The seafood bisque is the best you'll ever taste! Nothing on the menu falls short. Espectially wonderful on a cold, snowy winter night. A warm and cozy hiding place! The tavern is small but has character to spare. Stop in the tavern for a burger and your favorite beverage. Afterwards, take a stroll around the lake, right across the street. Makes for a nice afternoon.

My husband and I loved our experience. The atmosphere was unlike any other restaurant in Harrisburg. Very unique. We were greeted by a very friendly host, which we later understood was the owner. We were seated promptly and everything took off from there. Our server was attentive and friendly. Our food arrived in a timely fashion and was excellent. I think they have the best ceaser salads around. My husband loved his Firehouse Pasta. My stuffed chicken was perfect. For dessert, the chocolate peanut butter cake and the cr??me Brule was a perfect ending to a perfect meal. Also the drinks were very tasty. My husband had the firehouse bloody mary, which he said was spicy, but just how he liked it. I had the black martini, which everyone should try. All in all, a great experience. We will definitely return.
